PROFILE

Will Tolly has an extensive background in law enforcement, community service, and supervisory oversight spanning over 30 years with the Lancaster Division of Police and the Fairfield County Sheriff

s Office. He is a co-worker survivor of Lancaster Police Officer M. Scott Moyer, EOW:  5/26/2017.  Tolly

s dedication to supporting the families of fallen officers is evident through his previous involvement with organizations like Get Behind the Badge and the Officer Brett Markwood Scholarship Program.



  • Get Behind the Badge: This organization, co-founded by Ohio COPS President Angela McDowell, focuses on easing the financial burden on families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. Tolly formerly served as the Fairfield County Representative for this organization.



  • Officer Brett Markwood Scholarship Program: Named in memory of Lancaster Police Officer Brett Markwood, who was killed in the line of duty (EOW:  2/21/1993), this program provides tuition assistance grants for law enforcement-related studies to residents of Fairfield County, Ohio.



  • Fraternal Order of Police - Forest Rose Lodge 50: Tolly held various leadership positions within this organization, including three terms as president, second vice president, secretary, treasurer, and chaplain, which highlights his commitment to the fraternity of law enforcement officers and their families.



 

Will Tolly's overarching goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and loved ones affected by the loss of officers in the line of duty. His extensive experience and involvement underscore his passion for supporting the law enforcement community and honoring the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
