.Tracy Yates is the proud widow of Deputy Matthew Yates, who served with dedication at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in Springfield, Ohio. Deputy Yates tragically lost his life in the line of duty on July 24, 2022, while responding to a shots fired call. Tracy and Matthew share three children: Anthony, Andrew, and Ak.
Tracy serves as the Director of Outreach and Recruitment for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, where she is committed to building strong connections between law enforcement and the community. Her dedication to public service is evident through her involvement on numerous local community boards. She is a steadfast advocate for law enforcement, offering her support and expertise to initiatives that strengthen community relationships.
In addition to her professional role, Tracy is honored to serve as a Trustee for Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), an organization that provided her with invaluable support following her husband’s passing. Through this role, she is passionate about advocating for and comforting families who have experienced the devastating loss of a loved one in the line of duty.
